Bremerton Adventure Awaits
Hey Lykkers, ready to explore a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest?
We’ve just returned from Bremerton, Washington, and we can’t wait to share the must-see attractions and unforgettable experiences we had there!

Ferry Ride to Bremerton

One of the most exciting ways to kick off our visit to Bremerton was by taking the ferry ride from Seattle. We felt the cool breeze of the Puget Sound as we sailed over the water, admiring the skyline of Seattle in the distance. It was the perfect way to start our adventure, and the ferry ride itself is a scenic attraction that we highly recommend. The ferry operates daily with departures from Seattle's waterfront every 30 minutes or so, and tickets are $8.50 for a round trip. It’s the ideal introduction to the beautiful coastal city of Bremerton!

Visit the Bremerton Naval Museum

Once we arrived in Bremerton, one of the first places we headed to was the Bremerton Naval Museum. This museum is dedicated to the region’s rich naval history and offers an in-depth look at the ships that have served in the U.S. Navy. One of the most fascinating exhibits is the USS Turner Joy, we were able to walk through the ship, see the captain’s quarters, and learn about the ship’s storied history. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with tickets priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Stroll Through the Harborside Fountain Park

After soaking up some history, we spent a relaxing afternoon at Harborside Fountain Park. This beautiful park is located right on the water and features a stunning array of fountains and sculptures. We loved walking along the waterfront, enjoying the view of the marina and nearby mountains. The park is free to visit and is a great spot to take a break, snap some photos, or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, there are benches along the pathway, making it an ideal spot for a picnic or a moment of reflection.
