Skateboarding
Skateboarding is one of the board sports. It is a kind of skill sport in which athletes can slide their feet on different terrain, ground, and specific facilities to complete various difficult movements.
Skateboarding evolved from surfing in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In the 1960s, residents of California invented the first skateboard. In the 1970s and 1980s, the National Skateboarding Association (NSA) was the first skateboarding association in the United States.
In 1981, the American Skateboarding Association and the European Skateboarding Association jointly held the first World Cup skateboarding competition in former West Germany.
On 7 December 2020, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) agreed to include skateboarding as an official sport at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The highest organizational body for skateboarding is the World Roller Skating Federation, which was established on September 1, 2017.
After the 1970s, with the rapid development of science and technology, skateboarders developed polyurethane wheels.
These kinds of wheels have strong flexibility, wear resistance, and elasticity, which greatly promoted the new development of skateboard technology, and skateboard has developed towards the direction of socialization.
There are many types of a skateboard, mainly dashboards, double warping boards, drift boards, dragon boards, downhill boards, dance boards, big fish boards, small fish boards, longboards, etc.
The dashboard is more suitable for beginners to learn skateboard. It's a smooth slide.
The double warping skateboard is a kind of flexible, especially used for technical movements of the skateboard.
The drift board is the lightest and smallest skateboard in the world. Small size, light material, can be carried anywhere. American extreme enthusiast Ryan Farrelly used his Skateboard to install four straight wheels on it.
The dragon board is a new type of skateboard. Use body, foot, and hand movement to drive forward.
Downhill boards were created from the wheels of surfboards and skates, similar to surfboards and skis with wheels. It has longer and wider boards and bigger, softer, and wider wheels than ordinary skateboards.
It has a longer endurance. Better road adaptability, faster upstart time, and better handling sense.
The dance board is fast. Skiers can play freely and play more action.
The size of the big fish board is larger, and it is more stable for beginners to glide. And the big fish board has sandpaper, you can do some technical action.
The small fish board size is smaller.
A longboard is a piece of skateboarding equipment similar to a skateboard, but with a longer length. Originally originated from surfing, there are many kinds of gameplay now, including Cruising, Dancing, Freestyle, Downhill, Freeride, and Slide.
If you're a skateboarder, or if you're going to practice skateboarding, make sure your skateboard doesn't touch the water. After the bearing of the skateboard meets the water, rust may occur.
It will hurt the subsequent sliding, but also affect the service life of the skateboard. In addition, if it is the skateboard sandpaper dipped in water, the surface of the sand layer will be easy to fall off, and then in the process of sliding, the foot will be easy to slip, thus causing damage to the ankles and other joints.
Therefore, in the process of using the skateboard, whether it is the sandpaper on the surface of the skateboard or the wheels and bearings of the skateboard, can not touch the water.
