Daffodils In Literature
Big Fish is a film like a fairy tale scene, with the theme of family affection. So, he bought daffodils all over the state, covered them on the grass outside her window and proposed to her among the daffodils.
The grass covered with daffodils in the film is so beautiful that make you tremble. Daffodils represent the purest, carefree, and authentic memories in life. The movie tells us that everyone's life can be a fairy tale and we should believe in fairy tales.
The English Romantic poet William Wordsworth had written a poem “The Daffodils” in 1804, which describes the beautiful scene of him walking by a lake and seeing golden daffodils blooming all over the bay.
In Britain, due to the intensification of agriculture and the clearing of forest land, many daffodils have been uprooted. Since the 19th century, local daffodils have decreased significantly. August 31 is New Zealand's Daffodil Day. Daffodil Day began in 1990.
